Our Story
After over a decade of living in Columbus, Betsy still hadn’t found the perfect Italian rainbow cookie. Growing up Italian-American in New York, not only could you find them on our Christmas cookie platters each year, but most bakeries had them for whenever you wanted them. The moist layers of almond cake colored to honor the Italian flag, the sweet raspberry jam, the delicious chocolate coating - all brought together to make what we think is one of the best cookies ever. When her sister and brother-in-law, Christina and Tom, moved to Columbus in 2020, Betsy only waited a couple weeks to say “I think we should start a cookie company". She knew that the only way we were ever going to find the perfect rainbow cookie was for us to make them ourselves.
When thinking of a company name, we knew it was important to honor our family traditions, especially those of Grandma Ange. Though the rainbow cookie recipe wasn’t hers, the table where we shared the memories of eating them was. She taught us that family was the most important thing, and that the best way to show your family you love them is to feed them. So this is us, spreading her love with availability throughout the Columbus area and shipping nationwide, with the hope that a rainbow cookie at your table might bring you the same joys it brought us over the years, and that you can stop your search for the perfect rainbow cookie because you’ve found it from us.
